Multitel and DODILog at Photonics EU 2026!

A new edition of SPIE Photonics Europe is just taking place in these days from 12 to 16 April 2026 in Strasbourg, France. The event "continues to provide an interdisciplinary forum where researchers and engineers from academia and industry can meet to help bring the frontiers of science into practice. The symposium represents an excellent opportunity to stay informed and further the debate the latest (and future) developments in optics and photonics technologies—from digital optics to quantum technologies to optical imaging, sensing, and metrology, as well as THz photonics, 3D printed optics, photonic glasses, photosensitive materials, and biophotonics".

The DODILog partner Multitel will take the opportunity to attend Photonics Europe 2026 and discuss with the other participants about some of the key challenges that the project aims to tackle via novel technologies. Florent Defossez, Research Engineer at Multitel, will in particular follow the workshop on Infrared Spectroscopy.

The event includes a Plenary sesssion, various technical conferences, some special social and networking opportunities and an Industry Exhibition and Marketplace.

The Society of Photographic Instrumentation Engineers (SPIE) was founded in 1955 to specialize in the application of photo-optical instrumentation. As of 2025, welcoming 47 new Fellow Members into the Society in January, SPIE Fellow numbers now surpass 1,800.
