Port of Zwolle is the logistical gateway for the Zwolle Region. It is multimodally connected to the seaports of Rotterdam, Amsterdam, and Antwerp, with excellent links toward North and East Netherlands as well as North and Northeast Europe. As such, Port of Zwolle is more than the combined port authority of the municipalities of Zwolle, Meppel, and Kampen. It is a physical hub where waterways, railways, and roads converge, and where the interests of businesses, educational institutions, and government in the Zwolle Region are represented. With a focus on the energy transition, increased waterway transport, and circular production processes, Port of Zwolle is evolving as a logistics hub for circular business activities—a port of the future. In the development of the Zwolle Region into an economic top region of the Netherlands, with attention to broad prosperity, Port of Zwolle plays an essential role.
Arvalis
ARVALIS is an applied research institute dedicated to arable crops, focusing on agronomic, technological and economic performance of cereals, maize, sorghum, potato, fiber flax and forage. It provides references, innovations, supports and advice to farmers and agricultural sectors. It was founded in order to produce and transfer information, tools, and services validated by indisputable references. This leads to a continuous review of the methods used on a daily basis. It also enables the Institute to stay ahead of the game, by being identified as a reference in terms of methodology, whether for field research (microplots or farmer's plots) or laboratory work, studies and surveys...
Bretagne Développement Innovation
The mission of BDI – Bretagne Next is to anticipate the changes in the Breton economy and to enable businesses to meet the challenges of tomorrow's economy. The Bretagne Next agency – Nouvelle Économie eXpertise et Transitions – is tasked with anticipating, structuring, and promoting the economic sectors that will shape the Brittany of tomorrow. The agency works to support businesses, working closely with the local authorities.
CIRCOE is an innovation and technologies transfer centre specialized in transport and logistics based in Le Havre, Normandy, which aims at stimulating economic development. CIRCOE customises its services according to the needs: from small, medium-sized companies to large industrials or logistics providers. CIRCOE is skilled in optimizing logistics processes, which encompasses the application of LEAN Management and the use of logistics software tools like FLEXSIM and TRANSEPT.
Graansloot Kampen offers storage and handling in the widest sense of the word. Graansloot Kampen b.v. provides for a variety of goods. From the entry into stock of ship and freight cargo, loose bulk goods and biological raw material to steel coils and ‘big bags’. After your product has been unloaded it is weighed either in the weighing bunker or on the weighbridge, depending on storage method. On storage in one or multiple silos or silo cells, a conveyor system ensures that your product enters the correct cell. The loading of warehouse boxes is done through a box filling system to prevent damage whilst in storage and keep your product in optimal condition. We keep account of stock records for you and provide you as often with all data as required, so that you are at all times up to date regarding the desired information on your product.
The core business of Inagro is to perform applied research and to transfer knowledge to the stakeholders within the agrofood chain through communication, demonstration and consultancy. Inagro seeks to improve sustainability of local food production systems and to detect new opportunities for farmer businesses. As such, Inagro is a key actor within the regional and international Agriculture Innovation and Knowledge System (AKIS). Inagro carries out more than 400 different tests each year on no less than seventy crops and animal species. The research in outdoor crops focuses on horticultural, arable and forage crops in both conventional and organic cultivation systems. In greenhouses, the focus is on leafy plants (e.g. lettuce an spinach) and fruiting vegetables (e.g. tomatoes and cucumbers). More and more of that research now focuses on crops growing in hydroponic systems. Inagro grows strawberries on racks and in greenhouses. In intensive livestock farming (dairy, pigs) it conducts applied on farm research.

Recognised historically for its grain inventory management platform Store&save, the goal of Javelot is to integrate the entire grain data chain into their solutions; the services are developed in order to provide a comprehensive response to grain storage companies and enable them to optimise all of their operations, for a simpler, more efficient, more responsible post-harvest process.
Multitel is a research & innovation centre that stimulates technological innovation in companies by integrating effectively new technologies in their products, processes and services, in order to improve their competiveness and to reach a sustainable economic prosperity. It offers consulting and "custom made" training services.
Polytec, whose headquarters are located in Baden-Württemberg (Germany), develops, produces and distributes optical measurement technology solutions for research and industry. Its quality innovative products have an excellent reputation internationally among the expert community. Since its foundation in 1967, Polytec has grown into an international high-tech company. Today Polytec specializes in the technological fields of: Vibrometry, Velocimetry, 3D Surface Metrology, Process Analytics, Image Processing, other optical systems.
Vives University of Applied Sciences
Vives is a university college with large research groups, focusing on different sectors in close cooperation with the industrial partners. VIVES is the largest university of applied sciences in West Flanders, with campuses in five student cities (Bruges, Ostend, Kortrijk, Roeselare and Torhout). It offers courses in six fields of study: Applied Engineering and Technology, Applied Social Studies, Biotechnology, Commercial Sciences, Business Management and Informatics, Education and Health Care.
The Weser region is a living space and an economic region and an important transport axis. It extends over 1,000 river kilometres and a water management catchment area of around 42,000 square kilometres, in which around seven million people live and work. With the Wirtschaftsverband Weser e.V. and the Weserbund e.V.,, the team bundles and defends the interests of our unique river region. The goal of the Verein is to reconcile economy and ecology in a meaningful way in order to contribute to the further positive development of the Weser region, together with our partners from companies, associations and municipalities. In this way, the Verein acts independently of national and administrative borders. The Wirtschaftsverband Weser e.V. was founded in November 1999 with the aim of communicating the outstanding economic importance of the maritime economic sector in the north-western German coastal region to the EU, the federal government and the states.
