The celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Port of Zwolle, DODILog Lead Partner, was a perfect moment to launch the project.

What does the project stand for?

Seaports and inland ports take up a crucial role in the organisation of the supply-chain of agricultural products. However, the agri-food sector in North-West Europe faces critical challenges in maintaining the quality of the transported and stored agricultural products. Especially the sector of cereals and potatoes face major struggles, a.o. due to climate changes and changing markets, imposing different standards. The traditional storage, transport and monitoring methods often fall short, leading to major losses and logistic deficiencies.

The DODILog project aims to reduce the level of waste during the different stages of the agro-logistic supply chain by introducing new technologies for early detection and effective preservation control!

The projct launch followed the high profile port dinner which annually gathers multiple port stakeholders. Photos of the event can be found here.
